Mr. O'Daniel, age 88, died Thursday May 22 at Caldwell County Hospital after a long illness.
A native of Missouri, he was born May 2, 1900 to the late Eddie and Rosie O'Daniel. He was a retired factory worker for a building products company.
Survivors include his wife, Odie Thomas O'Daniel; one son, Edward O'Daniel, Corning, Arkansas; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Gilbert, Mechanicsburg, Penn.; four step-children, William B Thomas, Long Beach, Calif., Robert A Thomas, Shelbyville, Ala., Wilson D. Thomas, Joliet, Ill., and Mrs. Viola Reeves, Bristol, Tenn. He is also survived by eight grandchildren,
