CRUMB--Arthur R. Crumb, 69, died at 5:10 p.m. Monday, July 6, 1953 in Swedish-American hospital after a two-year illness. Born October 15, 1883 in Belvidere, son of Mr. and Mrs. Haskell A. Crumb. Lived most of his life in Rockford. Married the former Ella L. Lindstrom in Rockford, October 26, 1912. Employed as an insurance broker by J.H. Hallstrom agency about 15 years. Member of Second Congregational church. Previously associated wtih the old People's Bank for 29 years and served as a trust officer of the bank for several years. Attended the Rockford public schools. Survivors include: widow; daughter; son; two grandchildren; sister, Frances C. Crumb, Providence, Rhode Island; and three nephews. Burial in Greenwood cemetery.
