Timothy William Sullivan, 55 of Londonderry, N.H., a computer consultant and software author, died Saturday, March 13, 2004 in his home.

Mr. Sullivan was born in Braintree, MA, a son of the late William and Martha (Fearing) Sullivan. He was a resident of Londonderry for the past 26 years, formerly living in Malden, MA. Mr. Sullivan graduated from Archbishop Williams High School where he set the school’s high jump record which endured for ten years. He then graduated from Bryant and Stratton School of Business where he received an Associate’s Degree in computer Science. He began his career at the First National Bank of Boston where he achieved the position of Vice President. Mr. Sullivan was on the cutting edge of software development tools designed to instruct the average person in using the newly emerging personal computers with programs such as, “The Typing Tutor”, “Running Start” and “Tiny Tutor”. In 1990, he and his partner, Steve Moland, formed their own computer software company, Access Paths, Inc. where he wrote and maintained complex software programs for a variety of large and small companies.

Mr. Sullivan was an avid reader of technical publications, always keeping abreast of the latest developments in the industry. He was also a history buff with particular interest in the Civil War. He was engaged in documenting his family’s genealogy and was creating a family website. He and his wife Rita had traveled to Virginia to visit Civil War battlefields and the hospital location of the death of a great great uncle, Perez Fearing, during the Battle of Petersburg.

He is survived by his wife, Rita A. (Flanagan) Sullivan of Londonderry, one daughter, Jill Sullivan Grueter (Publication and Production Specialist at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester) and her husband Aaron of Auburn, NH, one sister, Maureen Driscoll and her husband Joseph of Braintree, MA, one brother, Joseph Sullivan and his wife Cindy of Sandwich, MA, one brother in law, James Kowalski of Falmouth, MA, six nephews and three nieces.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Martha Nicholson in 2000 and Janeen Sullivan in 2001.
