Elsie was born in San Mateo, CA to Louis and Daisy Grana. She is survived by her brother Rudy Grana and his wife June, her children: daughter Linda Ryan and husband Ed Ryan, daughter, Susan Baiata and husband Dave Cunha and son, Peter Baiata, wife Stacy Baiata and grandchildren: Dana Ryan, Jonathan Ryan, Danielle Baiata and Robert Baiata.
Elsie graduated from Sequoia High School, in Redwood City in 1949. Was happily married Lino Baiata, in 1956. She worked by her husband's side, accounting for the family business.
Her greatest love of all was her family; she was its heart and soul. Her positive attitude was admired by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her total devotion to family, friends and the charities close to her heart, was legendary. Her amazing sense of humour and good nature carried her throughout her life and illness. Elsie was a tireless volunteer who served as Treasurer and provided dining room servicer for the Fun After Fifty Club. She gave back to the church with years of service cooking in the rectory and teaching CCD classes to children at St. Anthony's in Menlo Park. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, dancing, music and the arts, including opera, Broadway productions and dancing to fifties music. She loved cruising, winning at Bingo and being a member of the Fun After Fifty Club bowling league.
Elsie was happy and loved life. We know she is dancing on a table somewhere in heaven!
