BOONEVILLE - Lorraine Aaron Copeland, 92, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was born Oct. 28, 1919, to William Kenner and Nora Harris Aaron. She was a piano teacher and a member of Booneville First United Methodist Church.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Hankins officiating. Burial will be in the Booneville Cemetery.
Survivors are one daughter, Marcia (Gary) Cartwright of Booneville; one son, William Philip Copeland of Booneville; two grandchildren, Shelley Lorraine (Ryan) Roper and Travis Clinton (Heather) Cartwright, both of Tupelo; three great-grandchildren, Lily Mayo Roper, Sadie Frances Roper and Ella Anne Cartwright; and one niece, Deanna Aaron McKenzie of Memphis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Ray Copeland; her parents; and one brother, William D. Aaron.
Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to service time today.
