Jessie May Allison was born June 5, 1903 on a farm east of Delphos, Kansas, the daughter of Joseph and Amy Disney Klein. She departed this life Tuesday, September 18, 1990 at the Ottawa County Hospital in Minneapolis, at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 13 days.
She taught in a rural Ottawa County school for one year before her marriage to Leo L. Allison October 24, 1923 at Lamar. All their married life was spent in the Delphos area. Her husband preceded her in death May 13, 1985.
Jessie was a former member of the Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include two daughters, Maxene Scott of Hutchinson, Kansas and Shirley Jacques of Salina; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Delphos Senior Citizens.
