Florence Brownie Bradbury, 81, died Monday at Root Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were Tuesday at 4 p.m., at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home and Rev. Glenn Roenfeldt officiated.

Burial was in the Colorado City Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bradbury was born January 15,1901 in Hill County. She married Oscar N. Bradbury June 19,1920 in Clifton. The Bradbury family has lived in Colorado City since 1944 and Mrs. Bradbury was a member of the First Baptist Church of Westbrook.

Survivors are her husband, Oscar N. Bradbury; five daughters, Ima Light of Valley Mills, Fannie Kinman of
Big Spring, Elizabeth Mayes of Loraine, Helen Gregory of Big Spring and May Dell Walker of Colorado City; four sons, Henry Bradbury of Waco, Eugene Bradbury of Guthrie, James Bradbury and Clayton Bradbury, both of Colorado City; 38 grandchildren and 29 greats grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Ray Bradbury, who died in 1972.

Mrs. Bradbury's grandsons were pallbearers.
