Funeral for Romie Elbert Clark, a retired dining car steward, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Northminster Presbyterian Church. Mr. Clark died Tuesday in a Portland hospital at age 78.
Mr. Clark was born in Missouri and moved to Portland in 1925. He lived at 6224 N. Burrage Ave. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Alice M., Portland; a son, Patrick Clark, Torrance, Calif.; stepsons, John Werner, Lake Oswego, and John Spunaugle, San Diego, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Marilyn McGill, Bend, and six grandchildren.
Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery.
