William Jesse KEITH was (called Jess all his life) the son of Samuel and Sarah H. (McADAMS) KEITH, Jess had brother's James L. KEITH, Ellis KEITH and sister Nancy "Nannie" KEITH. Their mother died when they were young (date unknown). Ellis adopted son of Wm. H. and Sarah HARRELL, Nannie adopted daughter of Sidney and Martha C. FOWLER. Jess married 30 Sep 1882 in Davenport, Thayer, Nebraska to Mary Jane FIMPLE daughter of Robert Stewart and Rhoda (JONES) FIMPLE, Jesse and Jane had a daughter Nona Belle. They lived in Nebraska, then in South Dakota, then moved to Grand Junction in 1909. He was sexton at the cemetery a number of years. At the time of his death he lived with his great niece Nona BLISS in Grand Junction, lived with her for several years.
