Denzel Neisz, 85, of Dawson Springs, died Monday, May 5 at NHC Health Care in Dawson Springs.
A farmer and retired employee of Swift Packing Company of Evansville, Indiana, he was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ of Evansville, born April 2, 1913 in Caldwell County, a son of the late Pearl and Verna McGregor Neisz.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Neisz on June 18, 1964; a son, Wendell Royce Neisz on January 27, 1984, and a sister Ozelma Neisz.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. R. C. "Jean" Dockery and Mrs. Truman "Connie" Dockery, both of Dawson Springs, and Mrs. Frank E. "Opal" Stallins of Princeton; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 9, at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Morris Brown officiating.
Burial will follow in Cross Roads Cemetery in Caldwell County.
