Born Nov. 6, 1916, in Maquon to Harvey D. and Ada R. Stiarwalt Masters, she married Frank N. O'Brien on Oct. 6, 1961, in Charleston. He survives.

Also surviving are one son, Roger McIntire of Kellogg, Idaho; two stepdaughters, Sandra O'Brien Bump of Morton and Susan Simpson of Corpus Christi, Texas; three stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

She attended Western Illinois University in Macomb for three years.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Canton, where a funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Arthur Meyer will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, with recitation of the rosary at 3:45 p.m. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to her church or any charity.
