James O. Kichline last evening at 10:45 o'clock died at the home of his son-in-law, Edward A. Jacobs, No. 923 Monocacy Street, N. B., aged 78 years, 7 months and 4 days.
He was born in Hanover Township on April 6, 1837, a son of Peter and Kate Heffelfinger Kichline. His wife died in 1909.
He leaves four daughters, Mrs. Josiah Berger and Mrs. Edmund Rhoads, of Bethlehem; Mrs. Edward Jacobs, of North Bethlehem, and Mrs. Joseph Brauchle, of the West side; 22 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, four brothers, William, of Bethlehem; Tilghman, of Rittersville; Morris, of Harrington, Del., and Albert, of Dover, Del., and one sister, Mrs. Benjamin Weaver, of Ridgely, Md.
The funeral will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. with services at the house and interment in the family plot in Fairview Cemetery.
