She is not to be confused with Elizabeth Grosch, the daughter of John Valentine Grosch and Barbara Bort. That Elizabeth was born June 27, 1781, died March 22, 1847 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and has her own burial memorial on Findagrave in the Woodward Hill Cemetery in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.. However, the confusion comes because she also married a man named John Christ; that marriage took place on August 20, 1800 in Nazareth, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
