Nora was born on 24 OCT 1913 in Antrium County Michigan. Her mother passed in 1916 in childbirth with her younger brother who also passed.
Her and her sister Vita May were then given up for adoption. Nora was adopted by Rodney Twadell and his wife Iva May Crandell (Noras Aunt). Vita May was adopted by other family members.
Nora had a baby named Betty Lou Twadell born in Barryton Michigan in December of 1934. She later married the father, Harold Waterbury.
After Harolds death in July of 1948, Nora married and moved several times:

Passed away June 17, 1974 at Bronson Hospital. Mrs. Bailey was born Oct. 24, 1913, in Kalkaska County, Mich., the daughter of Aiden and Iva May Tradell Crandall and had been a resident of Kalamazoo most of her life.
A member of the Bethel Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, John; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Lou Stewart of Alabama; 2 step sons, John Bailey Jr. and Milo E. SCott; 2 step-daughters, Mrs. Donald (Gloria) Roe and Mrs Etta Gernaat, all of Kalamazoo; one sister, Mrs. Clifton (Mae) Mohr of Ionia; 11 step-grandchildren; several aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held 9 am Thursday at the Truesdale Downtown Funeral Home, Rev. Doulas G. Beason officiating. Interment in Quincy, Michigan.
