Marcial Charlie "Chuck" García, age 35, a resident of Cuba since March of 2005, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2012.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Shantelle García of Albuquerque, children, Klaundra, Jorell, Mashae Charly, Marcial III and Santiago, his mother, Rose, three sisters and two brothers, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Charlie was preceded in death by his father, Marcial and brothers, Eric Gabriel and Patrick.
Charlie was a faithful member of Legacy Church. Charlie was a thoughtful, fun loving and hard-working husband. A funny kind hearted and dedicated father. Charlie enjoyed ministering to troubled youth. Charlie loved hunting, snow mobiling and off roading. Charlie loved his family and was truly loved by all.
Friends may visit French, University on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Legacy East, 4701 Wyoming NE Albuquerque, NM with Pastor Steve Smothermon officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Louis, Joseph, Jorel, Mikey, Edwin, Robert, George and Nicholas. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jorell, Jesse, Curtis and Isaac.
