A Catalina Flying Boat, FP 239, of 131 Operational Training Unit, was based at RAF Killadeas, Irvinestown, Co. Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.
It crashed at Reaghan Hill, Omagh, Co. Tyrone, on 30 December 1942, at approx. 17.15. The aircraft appears to have been on a training exercise.
