Mrs. Rosemary Rodriguez Acosta, age 49 of Boling died Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at her residence following a sudden illness. She was born on August 8, 1963 in Wharton the daughter of Jesse Ramirez, Sr. and Senaida Rodriguez Ramirez. Mrs. Acosta was a life-long resident of Wharton County and a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Wharton. She was a graduate of Boling High School and also graduated from Wharton County Junior College. She married Reynaldo Acosta in 2001 in Needville, TX. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Arturo Rodriguez in 1993 and a son, Arturo Rodriguez in 2002. A Rosary was recited Sunday evening, September 30, 2012 at the Wharton Funeral Home and a Funeral Mass was held at 10:00 am Monday, October 1, 2012 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Wharton with Father Gabriel Espinosa officiating. Burial followed in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton. Survivors include her husband, Reynaldo Acosta of Boling; daughters Amanda Raye Acosta and Veronica Marie Rodriguez and a son, Mark Rodriguez all of Boling; parents, Jesse and Senaida Ramirez of Boling; sister, Diana Steen of Boling and brothers, Jesse Ramirez & wife Donna of Needville and Anthony Ramirez & wife Melissa of Rosenberg, TX. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Pallbearers were Reynaldo Acosta, Mark Rodriguez, Joey Rodriguez, Rodney Rodriguez, Anthony Ramirez and Ricky Acosta. Honorary Pallbearers were all of her many friends and neighbors
