MADISON — Edwin Simonson, age 73, of 4044 Monona Drive, passed away on Friday, October 16, 1981, at home. He was born on January 31, 1908, in Draper, South Dakota. He was a partner In the Simonson Brothers Company from 1945-1972. He was married to the former Ingeborg Gronly. Mr. Simonson was a member of the East Side Businessmen's Association, and the Maple Bluff Country Club.
Survivors include his wife; five grandchildren; one greatgrandchild; and two brothers, Harry of Madison and Nels of Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Howard Bauhs, and a grandson, Mark. Funeral services will be held at Gunderson Funeral Home, 5203 Monona Drive, at 2p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, Reverend Hector Gunderson will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call from 4-8p.m. on Monday, October 19, at the funeral home.
