GOLDTHWAITE: Funeral services for Bernice Cornelia Combs, 75, of Goldthwaite, will be held at 1 P.M. Friday, Feb. 22, 2002, at the Stacy-Wilkins Chapel with Bro. Doug Holtzclaw officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche under the direction of the Stacy-Wilkins.
She died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002, in the Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
She was born July 3, 1926, in Arkansas to Albert and Pearl Jackson. She moved to Goldthwaite from Grand prairie in 1999. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include four daughters, Patsy of Bonham, Linda Tippie of Mullin, Vicki of Arlington and Rhonda York of Mullin; four sons, Larry of Blanket, Reggie of Arlington, Mike Combs of Goldthwaite and Bruce of Grand Prairie; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Frieda of Jonesboro, Ark., Vieta of Jonesboro, Ark., Betty of Little Rock, Ark. and Emma of Little Rock, Ark.; and brother Jerry of Jonesboro, Ark.
She was preceded in death by daughter Alicia Combs.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. today at the funeral home.
