Got T-Bear when he was about 6 weeks old. He had two little brothers, they were fighting and he got between them to break them up. He had a white M on his forehead and very large front feet. We fell immediately in love with him. Wish we could have afforded his two brothers too. The breeder gave us some dry food to bring hom and start him on. We had our other dog Miss Mable with us and she was hungry, so we stopped at McDonald's in Cartersville to get her a plain cheeseburger. Miss Mable was in the back seat, and I was holding T-Bear in my lap. I was unwrapping the cheeseburger to give to Miss Mable and all of a sudden T-Bear just started eating it as fast as he could? He ate the whole thing and we had to go back through McDonald's again and buy Miss Mable another one. T-Bear was really a hearty eater all his life. Was in good health until all of a sudden he developed heart and kidney failure. Vet tried to save him, said had it been one or the other he would have stood a chance, but with both, one needed fluid, the other needed fluid drained and therefore it was a losing battle. T-Bear went to the vet on a regular basis, had all his shots, and had monthly heartworm medicine. He was an inside dog, part of the family. We sure do miss him and will always love him. He was so smart, knew lots of words. He loved playing keep a way, never liked to play ball on a go get, bring back basis. He would go get it and bring it back and back up to you and let you try to get it from him. He loved hamburgers and chicken. Had a diet of dry food and canned food mix. Might end up getting another pet, not to replace him as that would be impossible, just because we miss him and are lonely without him. Miss him running around. Don't know how his illness came on so suddenly and neither did the vet. I don't think he was intentionally posisoned, but can't help but wonder if he didnt' get into something he shouldn't have, maybe driveway dropping on his feet? Guess, we'll never know what the problem was, just wish we could have caught it in time, he really didn't act sick, just walked a little stiff, thought it might have been from his jumping and sprain his legs or back, kept eating and drinking until three days before his death?
But, he is now waiting at the Rainbow Bridge for us with the rest of our animals and we'll join them all again one day. We had him cremated and he now sits on the shelf besides Andrew and Miss Mable.

Miss telling you I need a hug and you would come back up to me for that hug! Miss seeing you lay at the bathroom door, peeping under, waiting for your Dad to exit. Miss us coming in the house and you always stopping to watch the garage door come down, it always amazed you. You coming in with your Dad from outside and me asking you "where have you been?" and you twisting your little body every which of way, just happy I was missing you! So, many things about your sweet personality that we miss. Always missing and loving you. It is sooooo lonesome around here without you, but God had a plan!
