Herbert F. Brammer, 56, of Bergholz Rd., Carrollton, died Monday in Timken Mercy Hospital after a two-year illness. A retired boiler maker, he was born June 13, 1918 at Olive Hill, Kentucky, a son of Mrs. Myrtle (Mauk) Brammer of Salineville and the late Donald W. Brammer. He moved from Jefferson County to Carroll County 12 years ago and was a veteran of World War II and a member of Pentecostal Assembly of God Church at Salineville.
In addition to his mother he is survived by three sons, Donald W., Jack L. and Gary W. Brammer, all of Carrollton; a daughter, Mrs. John (Pamela) Lutton of Louisville; a stepson, Gene Nicholson of East Liverpool; two brothers, Roy and Albert Brammer, both of Salineville; three sisters, Mrs. Earl (Dorothy) Geiser of Louisville, Mrs. Bud (Juel) Lawrence of Hammondsville and Mrs. William (Jerry) Burton of Irondale, and nine children. His wife, the former Virginia Mae Rossey, preceded him in death May 29, 1968. Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the Allmon-Dugger Funeral Home at Carrollton with Rev. Angel Peez officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery.
