Charles Wilbur Campbell was born April 30, 1943 at Hastings, Mich. the son of Spencer D. and Arlea Campbell. He came with his parents to Christian County in 1952 and lived most of the remainder of his life in the Sparta and Ozark communities with the exception of a year in Kansas. Charles Wilbur attended the Sparta and Ozark schools and was a member of the Victory Baptist Church. He entered into rest July 25 at the age of 13 years, two months and 25 days. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Drake Campbell of Route one, Ozark; three sisters, Mrs. Joan Payne of Ozark; Mrs. Arlene Allen of Ozark and Miss Kathleen Campbell of the home. Funeral services were held July 29 in the Victory Baptist Church with the Revs. Lloyd Wilson and Hubert Fugitt officiating. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery under direction of the Harris Funeral Home of Nixa.
