Last Will & Testament of Maria P. Moore
Maria P. Moore do this day make and publish this as a codicil and amendment to my former will and my desire is that this shall take the place of the former will made by me. That is to say that I desire that all of my just debts be paid out of my estate. After which it is my will and desire that a lot be purchased in the Ottumwa Cemetery and a good substantial monument be erected not to cost over fifty dollars. I bequeath to my son Charles D. Barker one dollar and to Alice Justice one dollar and one dollar to my son John Moore. The balance of my estate I bequeath to Matilda Peterson on condition that she takes care of me during my sickness until death that is provided for me during the remained of my life. Signed Maria P.
