She was a native of Prichard, AL. After accepting Christ at an early age she became a faithful member of Samuel Chapel A.M.E. Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abe Collins Jr.; parents, Joe and Clara Broadhead; sister, Clara English; two sons, Willie Mac Collins, Abe Eugene Collins; one daughter, Rosie Lean Chestang ; son-in- law, Alphonse Chestang, Sr.; one grandson, Alarza Lee Collins, Jr.; and one great grandson Christopher Collins Detroit, MI.
Interment in Whispering Pines Cemetery, Whistler, AL.
