Mrs. S. C. Buntain, wife of S. C. Buntain, living north-west of town, died at her home Wednesday afternoon at 7 o'clock of child-birth. She leaves eight children, the oldest being only sixteen years of age. The child born Wednesday lived only a short time. The funeral was held at the Free Methodist church yesterday at 4 o'clock attended by a large number of her friends and relatives.

Last Thursday morning George Hamilton received a telegram announcing the death of his daughter, Mrs. Jennie Buntain at Macksville. Mrs. Flora Shores and Mrs. Morgan Hedge, sister and cousin of the deceased, went on the evening motor to be present at the funeral. Deceased grew to womanhood in this county but has resided in the Macksville neighborhood since her marriage about fifteen years ago.
