Husband of Catherine (Kay) M. Jones (nee Schmidt) for fifty years; loving father of six children including Julianne (Doug) Wright, Kenneth (Claudia), Michael (Jean), Thomas (Kelly), Christine (Nicholas) Applegren, and Lauren (Jeffrey) Rauscher; adored grandfather of nineteen grandchildren including Madeleine, Daniel, and David Wright; Maximilian, Vincent, Andrew, Genevieve, Gregory, Anthony, Valerie, Cecilia, and Felicity Jones; John and Sam Jones; Conor, Kian, Colleen, and Kevin Jones; and Kimberly Rauscher. Born Aug. 1, 1939, in Queens, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maryon Jones (nee Cleary) and sister, Vincentia Jones. Vincent graduated from St. Ann's Academy in New York, NY in 1957. He played basketball at Iona College in New Rochelle, NY, and received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting in 1961. He served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. He later received his Juris Doctorate from Fordham Law School in New York, NY in 1968 and was admitted to the American Bar Association of New York in 1968. Vincent was Assistant Treasurer at Ralston Purina Company and Assistant Treasurer at Monsanto Company, before becoming Chief Financial Officer of the Archdiocese of St. Louis where he received the honor of The Order of St. Louis King from Archbishop Rigali. He later owned and served as President of Maryon Industries Paving Company. Vincent will be greatly missed by his many relatives and friends.
