Carol was born on April 5, 1947 in Pensacola, Florida . Her maiden name was Walters. Carol Sue Ed, of Tulsa Oklahoma died at her home on Thursday, October 4, 2012. On April 5, 1947 in Pensacola, Florida she was born to proud parents, James and Druscilla (Hooper) Walters whom have both preceded her in death. Carol was 65 years 5 months and 29 days old.
In 1957, the family moved from Georgia to Tulsa where Carol continued her education. On June 13, 1971, she married William Ed in Tulsa where they made their home and raised their children. Carol worked as a hospital switchboard operator.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two of her brothers, James and Jerry; a daughter, Catherine; and several nieces and nephews.
Those loving family members who survive and will forever cherish her memory are her loving husband of 41 years, William Ed of the home in Tulsa; two sons; and daughter; her sister; three grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends who will all miss her.
Viewing will be Monday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the chapel of Add'Vantage Funeral Service, 9761 E. 31st St., Tulsa. Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel.
Graveside committal rites will follow the funeral.
