MUNCIE--Glenn L. Jones, 74, died Wednesday, May 9, 2007 in Ball Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born in Muncie, January 11, 1933, the son of Glen and Ada Mae (Means) Jones, graduated from Muncie Central High School, and spent most of his life in this area.
Glenn was employed with Delco Battery 34 years prior to his retirement. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Avondale Sympathy Club, liked playing golf, going boating, and was a die hart Chicago Cubs and Bobby Knight fan.
Survivors include two sons, Rick Jones (wife-Patti), Muncie, and Tom Jones, Muncie; one brother, Ron Jones (wife-Clare), Muncie; two grandchildren, Adam and Amber; and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Steven Jones.
Private services will be held at a later date with Rev. Kirby Garrett officiating and a celebration of life will follow services.
