Mrs. Ida Todd, 79, widow of Wesley Todd, died Sunday morning at her home at Covington following a brief illness.
She was born April 10, 1880 in Linn county, the daughter of Hannah and S. P. Reed. She was married to Wesley Todd and they lived most of their lives in and around Toddville and Linn county.
She was a member of the Church of Christ at Toddville.
Surviving are one son, Leland Todd, two grandchildren, Mrs. Paul (Vanita) Jones, who was raised in the Todd home, and Max Todd, all of Cedar Rapids; and six great grandchildren. A daughter, Blanche, proceded her mother in death.
Services were held Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. at Turner chapel with Rev. W. Russell Burriss in charge. Burial was in the Shiloh cemetery.
