Ruby A. McConnell, 91, Route 1, Wilkinson, died Tuesday afternoon at Brandywine Manor Convalescent Center, Greenfield.
Born April 11, 1894 in Green Township, Hancock County, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin R. Walker. Her memberships included Sugar Grove United Methodist Church, Milners Corner, where she was the oldest member; Milners Corner Ladies Aid; and a charter member of Wilkinson Community Brotherhood and Sisterhood.
Survivors include a son, Marion "Sam" Allford, Wilkinson; two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Spegal, Greenfield, and Mrs. Helen Six, Homestead, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Guy Allford, in 1946, and Leonard McConnell, in 1970.
