Born in Seattle, Washington, he is preceded in death by his father, Walter A. Lyons; his mother, Florence G. Petrick; stepfather, Arnold A. (Pete) Petrick; his brother, Donald A. Lyons; and his youngest son, Christopher A. Lyons.
He is survived by his twin brother, William F. Lyons; younger brother Garron J. Petrick; his children, Bruce Alan, Gary Lee, Keith Wayne and Laurie Ann; his eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In 1945, at age 17, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, entered the V-5 Naval Flight Unit, and received an Honorable Discharge in 1947. Bob became a Master Mason in 1949, was a member of the Elks Club, owned and operated Allied TV Service in Seattle for over 50 years, and Island TV on Orcas Island.
He loved being a private pilot flying various small airplanes; he loved fishing; and living under the "Blue Hole" over Sequim gave him great joy.
Services to be held at 12:00 p.m., November 21, 2009, Evergreen Washelli, Seattle, Washington. Reception to follow.
