His parents were Solomon and Mehitable (Barker) COLE (NH Birth Records).
Died in Lisbon, NH, of lung fever, aged 69 years.
He was born in Salem, NH.
In 1798 he moved to Landaff, where at the age of twenty-one, he was converted. After deep conviction, he began to hold meetings, and was ordained in 1827. His labors as minister were confined mostly to Lisbon and Landaff. He supported a large family by his diligence, and yet found time to engage much in labor for his Master.
He was a bright example in the private walks of his life."

This record of Samuel Cole, son of Solomon and Mehetable (Barker) Cole is from p. 774 of book History of Merrimack and Belknap Counties, New Hampshire, where it states: "[Solomon Cole] resided with his sons, Isaac and Rev. Samuel, in Landaff and Lisbon, N.H. (Samuel was a minister of the gospel for 40 years, and his son, Rev. Moores Cole has been in the Christian ministry 48 years.)" (from "NH Thomas Cole Descendants")
