Richard Kenneth Cartrette, Jr. was born November 1855 and married Rhoda Elizabeth "Lizzie" Sarvis Cartrette. They had four children: Armatha L. Cartrette, Louisa M. Cartrette, Caroline Cartrette, and William Thomas Cartrette. Richard died of pneumonia complicated by heart problems in Bayboro, Horry County, South Carolina on October 11, 1936 at age 80, although his death certificate says 85. Both he and his wife are buried in the Cane Branch Baptist Church Cemetery in Horry County. I hope someone will add a photo of Richard.
