Morgan Rites Held At Richland Creek
Funeral services for Thelda Recie Morgan, 37, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 4, at Richland Creek Church of God. Rev. W. J. Roberts officiated, assisted by Rev. Herbert Barnett, Rev. Roy A. Smith, and Rev. V. T. Morgan let in prayer.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Morgan died Thursday, August 2, at the University Hospital, Jackson, following an illness of three weeks.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thad Morgan of Foxworth, born in Marion county November 7, 1935. He had been employed in the oil fields. He was a member of Richland Creek Church of God and a resident of Foxworth.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Peggy Smith Morgan; his parents; two daughters, Shelia Michelle and Donna Lynn Morgan; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Webb and Mrs. Archie Thornhill of Foxworth; and brother, Harvey Morgan of Foxworth.
