Services for Golda M. King Johns of Monticello are 3 p.m., Friday, March 8, at Carmel Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is today from 6-9 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until service time at Carmel Baptist Church. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Johns, 73, died March 5, 2002, in an automobile accident near Tylertown. She was born in Jefferson Davis County on Feb. 18, 1929, to James Elbert Miller and Mary Slater Miller.
She was a retired supervisor with Kellwood Manufacturing with 40 years service. She was a member of Carmel Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her father; her husbands, J. S. "Buck" King and James Johns; and her brother, Michael Miller.
Survivors are her mother, Mary Slater Miller of Idaho; her stepson, Robert Johns of Monticello; her daughters, Mary Clay Jennings of Monticello and LaDonna Barnett of Byram; her stepdaughter, Marion Blackwell of Monticello; her brother, David Miller of Washington; her sisters, Helen Davis of Jackson, Mary Lou McDough of New Orleans, Rowenda Quinn of Washington and Joy Halmond of Idaho; her grandchildren, Darlene Rutland, Joseph Clay, Brian Barrett, and Kathy Gambell; and her great-grandchildren, Zack and Miranda Rutland, Thomas and Dalton Clay, and Coner Gambell.
