KENNETH T. SHIRLEY
LINCOLN and HOWLAND- Kenneth T. Shirley, 87, died July 9, 2003, at a Lincoln health care facility. He was born in Baileyville, Dec. 28, 1915, the son of David and Flora (Baker) Shirley. Kenneth spent
most of his life as an auto mechanic. He was a U S Army Veteran of World War II, was a member of the American Legion in Howland and had been a member of Composite Lodge # 168 AF & AM of LaGrange . He is survived by four children, Ann Brown of Lincoln, Mary Nason of Howland, Josephine Lavigne and Chris Shirley, both of Hinesburg, VT; 12 grandchildren, Kellie Martin, Clayton Duncan, Joann Duncan, Karen Duncan, Fred Thompson, Troy Thompson, Brent Thompson, Brenda Thompson, Benjamin Nason, Shilow Parker, Sean Parker and Shain Parker; 15 great-grandchildren, Daniel, Sarah, Tia, Rodney, Amanda, Tony, Stephanie, Samantha, Jamie, Todd, Lacie, Levi, Bobby, Aundonia, and Jacob; two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clayton Crocker officiating. Interment, with full military honors, will be in Town Line Hill Cemetery, Enfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Colonial Healthcare Activities Fund, or a
special equipment fund at Colonial Healthcare. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
