Cecil H. McBride, 84, of 4102 Hawthorne Drive, Owensboro, died Tuesday, March 1, 1988, at Mercy Hospital. He was born in Hancock County, was a retired farmer and former custodian at the Daviess County Courthouse for 21 years, and was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. His wife, Mary Theresa McBride, died in 1985. Survivors include 2 sons, J.M. McBride of Boys Town, NE, and Randall McBride of Owensboro; 3 daughters, Mrs. Alan (Millie) Reed of Sturgis, Mrs. Charles (Imogene) Hayden III of Browns Valley and Ms. Rebecca Carrico of Owensboro; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bill McBride of Boys Town. Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. today at Glenn Funeral Home, where prayers will be said at 7 p.m.
