NOTE: In 1861 Susan (age 2) lived on Amherst Island. In 1931 the marriage record of Susan's son states she was born on Amherst Island, Ontario. She later resided in Belleville, Ontario, so her husband's Petition For Naturalization (1908), her death certificate and obituary all state she was born there, but she was most likely born on Amherst Island.
