Elizabeth A. Campbell, 74, of Havana, passed away at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield at 11:45 p.m. on Sunday, October 7, 2012.
She was born March 2, 1938 in Chandlerville to Gustav and Nelda (Keith) Dallmann.
Mrs. Campbell grew up in Havana and attended Monticello College and the University of New Mexico. She later attended Western Illinois University where she met her ex-husband, Jon Campbell. She later returned to Havana and spent several years with her best friend, Bill Lewis. She was a very strong and dedicated person to her family and relatives.
She is survived by three children, Christopher Campbell and her twin daughters, Paige and Rachel Campbell, along with one sister, Margaret France. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Rick and Riley Lane, Stephen and Scott Dean, Kathy Bridges and Stacey McFate.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Joanne Lane.
Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2012. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2012. Rev. Brian Lesemann will officiate. Burial will follow the services at Bethel Cemetery, near Bath.
Memorial contributions may be made to Salem Lutheran Church in Chandlerville or the American Diabetes Association.
