Ella Jeanette Nelson died suddenly while at work at the Hudson greenhouse Thursday, June 19, at 3:30 p.m.
The daughter of Clifford and Etta Patterson Nelson, she was born July, 11, at Poy Sippi, Wis., and in early childhood with her parents moved to Milton Junction where she attended the Seventh-day Adventist church school. Later she graduated from Bethel academy at Arpin. She was baptized and joined the Seventh-day Adventist church in her early youth and was a faithful member until her death.
Surviving are her mother; a sister, Mrs. James Carey, Honolulu, Hawaii; and her grandfather, J. E. Patterson, Milton Junction. Her father preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Phelps funeral home, with Elder E. D. Calkins, Beloit, officiating.
Burial was made in Milton Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: J. E. Marshall, Robert Serns, Tim Phelps, Ed Purucker, Harley Shadel and William Antisdel.
