Mr. Johnny Allen Muse, 67, of Myrtle Street, Carrollton, Georgia, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2010. He was born April 14, 1942 in Carrollton, Georgia, the son of the late Loyd Jordan Muse and Lillian Frazier Muse. Mr. Muse was a veteran of the United States Army and was self-employed in the construction business for many years. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, David, Jimmy and Mark Muse. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Muse; sons and daughter in law, Mark and Kristie Muse and Jimmy Allen Muse all of Carrollton; sisters, Jannie Muse Kilgore of Clem and Susan Muse McGuire of Carrollton; brothers, Charles Muse, Steve Muse, Mike Muse all of Carrollton, and Harvey Dixon of Coco Beach; grandchildren, Sara Muse Reifsteck, Ashley Muse Huey, Johnathan Muse, Erica Muse McLendon, Mark Frazier Muse Jr., and Lillian Amanda Muse; also 7 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at 2 p.m. from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Bryan officiating. Pallbearers will be Mark Muse Jr. (Buddy), Jonathan Muse, Johnny Hartley Jr., Dr. Dean Talley, John Poppins, Brandon Crews and Steve Muse. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens.
