TANNERSVILLE, VA.—Albert Troy Harman, 84, of Tannersville formerly of Skygusty, died Thursday , November 13, 1997 at a Tazewell Va. hospital.
Born on June 25, 1913 at Tip Top, Va., he was a son of the late John Bailey and Lou Alley Harman.
He was a retired coal miner and member of the UMWA. He was a member of the Saltville Golf Club.
He was preceded in death by six brothers, Charlie Harman, Walter Harman, Dan Harman, Steward Harman, Harry Harman and Sherman Harman, Sr. and two sisters, Amelia Collins and Maggie Freeman.
Survivors include his wife, Sally Bell Harman; his daughter, Mrs. Eunice Panciera and her husband Ronald Panciera, Sr. of Bradenton, Fl.; one brother, Cam Harman of Skygusty; three grandchildren, Ronald Panciera, Jr., Albert Troy Panciera and JIna Panciera; six great-grandchildren, Justin Panciera, Joseph Panciera, Ronald Panciera III, Melissa Panciera, Amanda Panciera and Ryan McDonnell.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home Chapel at Tazewell with Rev. Mark Gaminde and Rev. Harry Henderson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery at Skygusty.
Nephews will be pallbearers.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
The family asks that those who wish to make memorial contributions consider the Tannersville Church of Christ or the Tannersville Rescue Squad.
