Harold Lee (Shorty) Brady passed away on Saturday January 23, 2010 at Boone Hospital Center.

Services will be held Monday January 25, 2010 at 11a.m. at Parker Funeral Service with visitation from 9a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Centralia Mo.

Harold was born September 30, 1940 in Boone county to Bernadine George. On March 11, 1965 he married Helen Marie Riggs at Red Rock Methodist Church in Harrisburg Mo and she survives. Harold was a construction worker operating heavy equipment from 1967 until he retired in 2002. He enjoyed pulling and working with his Belgian horses. He served in the armed forces from 1965 to 1967 where he learned his trade of operating heavy equipment.

He is survived by his wife of Hallsville, Bernadine George,of Columbia, brothers, Lawrence Brady of Houston Mo, Kenneth Brady of Union Mo. James Brady of Moberly Mo. sister, Wanda Longoria of Hallsville, half brother, John George of Columbia, and step brother, Ray George of Hallsville, several nieces and nephews and two special godsons, Cody Houston and Zachary Houston. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Cecil George, father in law, Russell Riggs, brother, Ronnie Brady, step sisters, Shirley McGee, Barbara Devore and Janet Griffitts.
