ELDRED, Pa. - Funeral services were held at the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred, Pa. today (April 19) for Raymond Charles Bell, of Edson Street, Eldred, Pa., who died Friday (April 16) in Olean General Hospital, following a brief illness.
Born in Eldred, Pa., on Jan. 14, 1903, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Sadie Bixby) Bell.
Mr. Bell was a partner in the Bell and Bell Contracting Co., of Eldred; a member of the Eldred United Masonic Lodge; a 32nd degree Mason; the Coudersport Consistory; the Jaffa Temple; and the Port Allegany Moose Lodge.
In addition to his widow, the former Gertrude McKendrick, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Thelma) Bradt; and Mrs. Robert (Joan) Bradt, both of Eldred, Pa.; two sons, Marvin of Eldred; and Frederick, of Wellsville; two brothers, Edward and Charles, both of Eldred; a sister, Mrs. Ralph Barnaby, of Eldred; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
