Mrs. Willie Gann Mynatt, 79, 1019 S. 11th St., died at the residence Saturday at 4:45 a.m. after an extended illness.
Services will be held Monday at 4 p.m. at Collier-Butler Chapel with the Revs. Donald Plants and Malcomb Minor officiating.
Burial in Forrest Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Charles McDaniel, Howell Gilbreath, Pat Robinson, Charles Amberson, Edwin Gann, Harold Greene, Jerry Holley, Marvin Gann, Larry Metcalf, Jack Mynatt and James Mynatt.
Honorary pallbearers, Porter McKinney, Ike Hudson, Arthur McPeters, Barney Sauls, Eugene Hayes, Bruce Oliver Jr., Phillip Oliver, Wayne Carroll and members of the Alumni G Club of Gadsden High School.
Survivors include son, Newman Mynatt, Gadsden; daughter, Miss Doris Mynatt, Gadsden; grand-daughter, Miss Michelle Mynatt, Tampa, Fla.; grandsons, Larry and P.D. Mynatt, Gadsden, Chuck, Jeff, Jay, Jon and Joey Mynatt, Tampa; daughters-in-law, Mrs. Sarah Mynatt, Gadsden, Mrs. Ann Mynatt, Tampa.
Mrs. Mynatt was a native and lifelong resident of Etowah County and was the wife of the late Graves P. Mynatt Sr. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and a Sunday School teacher for 20 years.
The body will remain at Collier-Butler through the hour of service. Collier-Butler Funeral Home directing.
