She was born at Albion June 12, 1916, a daughter of the late Charles and Althea Shauberger Peck.
She was a member of the Federated Church, East Springfield. She was a graduate of Edinboro Normal School. She retired in 1967, after 31 years of teaching school in the Northwestern School District and the former Albion Area School District. She enjoyed crafts.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, George Rausch, whom she married on October 5, 1940, two daughters; Mrs. Robert (Donna) Foster of Conneautville, and Rebecca Rausch of Storrs, Conn.:three sisters, Mrs. Florence Wilson of Virginia Beach, Va., and Mrs. Fred (Lillian) Knapp and Mrs. Donald (Bertha) Byerley, both of Albion: six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends called at the Samuel J. Steff Funeral Home, 188 E. State St., Albion with burial in the Albion Cemetery.
