On the 14, March 1887 Ernestine married August Timm in Bear Creek, WI. They resided in Bear Creek in the 1900, 1910, and 1920 census. They moved to Clintonville, WI for the 1930 and 1940 census.
They had one child: William Timm.

2/13/1947 Clintonville Tribune Gazette "Mrs. August Timm, 76, mother of Alderman William Timm, died in the Clintonville hospital last Friday. She had been in failing health for two years. Funeral services were held in St. Martin's Lutheran church at 2 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. W. O. Speckhard in charge. Burial was in Graceland cemetery. The former Ernestine Pagel was born in the town of Bear Creek on July 12, 1870. On Feb. 24, 1887, she was married to August Timm and they lived on a farm in the town of Bear Creek for 38 years before moving to Clintonville. In two more weeks the Timms would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. She was a member of St. Martin's Ladies Aid society and of the 70-Year club at the church. Mrs. Timm is survived by her husband; one son, William F. Timm, Clintonville; two granddaughters, Mrs. armin Kortbein and Miss Gladys Timm, a nurse in the local hospital; one great grandson, all of Clintonville; three sisters, Mrs. George Chevelier and Mrs. Otto Wolfgram, both of Bowler; and Mrs. Tillie Fredricks, Mankinson, N. D.; three brothers, John Pagel, Freeport, Ill.; Frank Pagel, Lake tomahawk, and Albert Pagel, Shawano. The pallbearers were Gust Lichtenberg, August Kuschel, Henry trieglaff, Herman Heling, William Pieper and Emil Rindt."
