This year, 1990 the town of Carver,
Massachusetts, celebrates its bicentennial.
It seems an appropriate time to note that,
on a recent visit to the Lakenham Cemetery,
six pre-1850 gravestones were found that were
evidently overlook when information was gat-
hered for the Vital Records of Carver,
Massachusetts, to the Year 1850 (Boston, 1911).

ye 6th [defaced]
in [defaced]
