Married Joel H. Wright 13 FEB 1855 in Macon County, Missouri. Elizabeth may have also been known as "Betsey".

MRS. BETTIE WRIGHT
Like the passing of a beautiful flower death came to Mrs. Bettie, beloved wife of Joel H. Wright, about 6 o'clock Wednesday evening. She was seated at me supper table, among those she loved, happy and without any premonition of trouble. But just as she had completed her supper she suddenly passed away.
For some years Mrs. Wright had been a semi-invalid, but the devoted care of a loving daughter always brought her 'round through times of stress. Since Miss Leah's marriage, however, she had been brighter and stronger. Certainly she was suffering no pain.
The funeral services will occur at 10 o'clock Friday morning. They will be conducted by the Rev. J. W. Boulton, former pastor of the Christian church here, who Mrs. Wright had in previous years requested to officiate on such an occasion. The family had long resided in Callao before coming to Macon. Those here attending the funeral will make the journey in autos.
