Born in Bountiful, Colorado, Boyd Lyman Sego lived 94 years.
He retired from teaching in public schools, both in Aztec, New Mexico, and Turlock, California. He then taught at John F. Kennedy and retired there in 1989.
Boyd was preceded in death by wife, Lois, and sons, Kenneth and Kyle.
He is survived by five children, Dennis Sego, Virginia Davis, Diana Koch, Darrell Sego and Ardyth Evans. He has twenty-two grandchildren; and thirty-four great grandchildren.
He died in Eagle Point, Oregon on October 5, 2012.
Graveside services Saturday, October 13, 2012, at 11am at Lakewood Cemetery in Hughson, California.
